Garden Time

The children of KG1, spent the morning in the garden gathering leaves to make a collage.

It encouraged them to collect the leaves, observe their different textures, sort them by shapes and colors, discuss what kind of trees the leaves come from, create a composition of a tree on a big sheet, and preserve their leaves. We also encouraged the children to learn to appreciate the beauty of so many different shades of colors.

The activity was a great hit among the preschoolers.
